Home / Welcome address from the Chairman

Dear Colleagues and Friends.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 12th Annual Conference of the Chinese Stroke Association and Tiantan International Stroke Conference 2026 (CSA&TISC 2026), which will take place in Beijing, China, from June 26 to 28, 2026.

We are living in a remarkable era of transformation in cerebrovascular medicine and brain health. While stroke remains one of the leading causes of death and disability worldwide, unprecedented advances in science and technology are reshaping how we understand, prevent, treat, and recover from neurological diseases. Artificial intelligence, brain-computer interfaces, digital health, multimodal imaging, and precision medicine are no longer distant concepts - they are rapidly becoming part of everyday clinical practice and research.

At the same time, the future of our field will be defined not by technology alone, but by our ability to integrate innovation with clinical excellence and to translate scientific discovery into meaningful benefits for patients. This requires closer collaboration across disciplines, institutions, and nations than ever before.

Over the past decade, CSA&TISC has evolved into one of the leading international platforms for scientific exchange in cerebrovascular diseases and brain health. The conference brings together clinicians, researchers, scientists, innovators, and healthcare leaders from around the world to share new evidence, challenge existing paradigms, and explore the frontiers of neurological care.

CSA&TISC 2026 will continue this tradition by highlighting the latest advances in stroke science, brain health, neurotechnology, artificial intelligence, translational research, and clinical innovation. More importantly, it will provide an opportunity to strengthen global partnerships and inspire new collaborations that will shape the future of our field.

As we look ahead, our mission extends beyond reducing the burden of stroke. Together, we must strive to protect, preserve, and promote brain health throughout the lifespan, advancing a future in which scientific innovation translates into healthier brains, healthier lives, and healthier societies.

I warmly invite you to join us in Beijing and look forward to welcoming colleagues and friends from around the world to CSA&TISC 2026.

With best wishes,

Yongjun Wang
