Target Audience
The target audience for the Stroke Symposium is neurologists, neurosurgeons, and neurointerventional radiologists.
Educational Objectives
To provide a review of current management of cerebrovascular diseases, with emphasis on recent advances and progress in the medical, endovascular and surgical management of ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes.
Upon completion of this symposium, participants should be able to discuss:
. Clinical applications of new concepts in intracranial stenosis, cerebral venous sinus thrombosis, cervical artery dissection , and subarachnoid hemorrhage.
. Diagnosis and effective management of cerebrovascular disorders.
. Neurocritical care of acute stroke.
